Junior High Wrestling - 2020
Dear Parents:
Welcome to another great season of Eagle wrestling. We have quite a busy schedule this season and we hope a very successful one. I would like to thank all the parents for their help and support in advance, I know it takes a lot of time and effort on your part to help your wrestler be successful.
Our practice times will be different this year.
Due to high school practices we will use the following schedule:
Wed-2-5-20 – 6:30 am to 7:45 am
Mon-2-10-20 – 6:30 am to 7:45 am
Wed-2-12-20 – 6:30 am to 7:45 am
After high school state, we will practice Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 pm to 5:45 pm.
Wednesdays we will practice at 6:30 am to 7:45 am. this is to accommodate Church Night and Drivers Ed.
If we do not have a meet on Fridays we will practice from 2:45 pm to 4:45 pm.
We will be going to Fort Shaw a couple of times to practice with Simms who also has a very young team. I do not have all of those dates confirmed yet. When we do go to Fort Shaw we will be back by 6:15 pm.
If for some reason your wrestler cannot be in practice they need to let me know as soon as possible. Because wrestling is a contact sport and we cover new information at every practice it is mandatory that they make every practice unless excused by a coach. Unexcused practices may result in suspension from the next scheduled event.
Each wrestler will need to have had a physical and a set of training rules turned in before they can compete. They need to have a tee shirt, shorts, and shoes for practice if they don’t have wrestling shoes tennis shoes will do. We will provide headgear, singlet, and warm-ups.
We are looking forward to a very successful season and we hope to see you at the meets. Thanks again.
